SchoolWorks Consultant

Amber Leage is a consultant with SchoolWorks. She has been an educator for 12 years, serving 6-12th grade students. During that time, she has played many roles in the educational environment and worked as a teacher, literacy coordinator, dean, and a member of an academic leadership team. She has served as an educator and instructional leader in inner-city public, bilingual, private, international, and charter schools. Her work in international education has led to three schools adopting the International Baccalaureate model, with her most recent school recently being granted candidacy as an IB World School. She coordinated a University Partnership, created a Credit Recovery Program, and School Improvement Plan, including the adoption of a new mission, a renewed focus on data-driven instruction, project-based learning, and the Common Core. Amber holds a B.A. in English from Santa Clara University and a Masters in School Leadership from Concordia University.
