Dan Cosgrove is a leadership consultant with SchoolWorks. He served for seven years as a middle school principal at Roxbury Prep in Boston, part of the Uncommon Schools network. Dan was a founding middle school Dean of Students at Leadership Prep in Brooklyn. Dan began his career teaching third grade as a Teach For America corps member.
With Uncommon Schools, Dan has served on working groups developing expertise and best practices in leadership communication, social-emotional practices, and racial identity.
Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Trinity College and a master’s degree in childhood education from Hunter College, as well as a Certificate from the National Principal Academy Fellowship at Relay Graduate School of Education.
