Danielle Tschirhart is a consultant and project manager for SchoolWorks. Before joining SchoolWorks, Danielle was the Chief Operating Officer for Democracy Prep Public Schools and she also served as the Managing Director of Finance and Operations at the New York-based Public Prep Network.
Prior to her network leadership experience, Danielle was a school leader at an all-girls middle school in the East Village neighborhood of NYC, serving students in grades 5-8. Danielle previously worked as a charter school evaluator and authorizer at the SUNY Charter Schools Institute and began her career teaching 8th-grade English Language Arts in East Harlem and the Bronx.
Additionally, Danielle is the founder of Perch Collaborative, a school support partner organization whose mission is to clear a path for school leaders to spend time in their buildings with students, teachers, and families by outsourcing the administrative load of school running. She holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University, a Master’s of Public Affairs from SciencesPo Paris, and Master of Science in Teaching from Pace University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
