Pamela Plumer is a Leadership Consultant with SchoolWorks and a member of the Statewide Systems of Support (SSoS) West/Central team. Pam has held various educational roles throughout public schools in Massachusetts. Most recently, Pam has been the Director of Student Services for the Northampton Public Schools, where she was responsible for overseeing special education, English learner education, early childhood, and homeless and foster student supports for over 700 students in grades PK-12+. Pam received her PhD in School Psychology from UMass Amherst, where she focused on the Response to Intervention model as well as interventions for students with ADHD, executive functioning difficulties, and learning. She was a school psychologist in the Pittsfield, Amherst, and Northampton public schools before becoming an Associate Director of Student Services for NPS in 2012. She has a passion for supporting educators in creating environments that include effective, evidence-based practices with a priority of providing meaningful, engaging, and accessible learning for all students. Pam is also active in community/youth theatre and athletic recreation in the Pioneer Valley.
