Llama Maynard is a Leadership Consultant for the West/Central Regional Assistance Team in the Massachusetts Statewide System of Support – a role that allows her to engage in systems-thinking in support of the team’s collective efforts to partner with districts.
Over the past 15 years, Llama has been a middle school science teacher, served as professional development provider for State and national science education associations, worked as a school designer in a national nonprofit school reform organization, and held an administrative leadership role in a Massachusetts public charter school. In addition to her strong roots in K-12 science education, she has experience and passion for implementation of standards-based grading, project-based learning, and student-engaged assessment practices.
