Jay Adams is the Managing Director of Quality Reviews for SchoolWorks. She oversees the company’s Quality Review service area, managing the onboarding and training of SchoolWorks review team members and spearheading the continual evolution of the company’s protocols and tools.
Jay has led and participated in hundreds of School Quality Reviews nationwide. With a specialty in comprehensive school improvement, she has managed several of SchoolWorks’ long-term engagements with individual schools – including Baystate Charter Academy Public School in Springfield, MA; New Heights Academy in Harlem, NY; and Merrick Academy Charter School in Queens, NY.
Before joining SchoolWorks (as a consultant and then full-time employee), Jay served as both an Executive Principal and as an Assistant Principal of Teaching and Learning in rural, suburban, and urban school districts. In these roles, she supported a variety of district projects involving teacher development, evaluation, school turnaround practices, STEM integration, and more.
