Michelle Pieroni first came to SchoolWorks because of its flexibility. She stayed because of its mission.
Pieroni was an office manager and legal assistant for the managing partner in a law firm before starting a family. When returning to work, she found that SchoolWorks provided a healthy balance with her home responsibilities.
“I have an interest in education reform because I have young children,” she says. “I never realized so many schools were underperforming and that there were companies such as SchoolWorks who help them out.”
As SchoolWorks’ project coordinator, Pieroni supports client projects and manages the administrative support team, which schedules travel, conducts research, and compiles materials for site visits. She also works with the business manager reviewing/ processing consultant expense reports and performing various bookkeeping tasks. She is pursuing a certificate in Web design, and credits SchoolWorks for encouraging their employees to continue education.
“Everyone here is incredibly passionate about improving education for all kids,” she says. “I consider myself very fortunate to be part of such a great group of people.”
